Apple has finally released an update which will allow you to shut down the battery management system. The system was the reason behind the various lags in iPhones. The bug came into play with the iOS 11.2 update. The company said that the slowdowns were due to battery ageing and some problem in the version itself.
Tim Cook announced the option to turn off the whole system recently. It is now available through the iOS 11.3 update. You can shut down the throttling of your iPhone’s power by clicking on “Settings” under the “Battery section”. Owners of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus will be able to use this option on their devices.
The update also brings some more features and improvements. The beta version of the iOS 11.3 has been released but it has not come out for all the developers.
Apple has also introduced 16 fun Animojis including a dragon, bear, and skull. The ARKit has also been improved with this update. It can now recognize and add new objects on vertical platforms like doors and walls.
