iQOO, an all-new smartphone brand in India has made its debut with iQOO 3. Today, at an event in Mumbai, the company has unveiled its first flagship smartphone. The heavily specced-out smartphone is priced at Rs 36,990. Let’s find out more about the features and availability of the handset below. 

iQOO 3 – Specifications

Sporting a 6.4-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution. It’s an 800nits display which max outs at 1200 peak. The screen is Super AMOLED in nature and supports HDR10+ support for incredible viewing experience. There is a punch-hole camera taking 2.98mm real estate space on the display. It will be available in three colours tornado black, quantum river, and volcano orange. 

Speaking about the performance, it is powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor, which is Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset in the market. As far as the gaming experience is concerned, it comes with a range of features. Starting with monster touch buttons for in-game controls. There is a carbon fiber VC liquid cooling tech, which claims to cool surface temperature by 3.5 degrees, while CPU temp by 12 degrees. That’s incredible for a gaming device.

Further, it offers 4D game vibration for that immersive experience. You’d see a 180Hz touch response rate support better gaming. Supporting the experience is Hi-res audio certification and Hi-Fi AK4377A DAC for the overall brilliant audio experience. iQOO has claimed 0.29 seconds unlock speed using the in-display fingerprint scanner.  It comes with USF 2.1 storage and LPDRR5 RAM for faster data transfer and less power consumption. 

Talking about the camera department, it has a quadruple rear camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor being the primary lens. The other three lenses are 13MP telephoto lens with 20X zoom, 13MP super-wide-angle at 120 degrees, and a 2MP 2.5cm Super Macro lens. All this is powered by a 4440mAh capacity battery, which can be charged up to 50% in just 16 minutes. It’s possible because of the 55W fast charging technology. 

iQOO 3 will go on sale starting from March 4, 2020 at 12 noon on Flipkart and iqoo.com. The three variants are priced at INR 36,990 (8+128GB 4G), INR 39,990 (8+256GB 4G) and INR 44,990 (12+256GB 5G).
