
iQOO 7 is the next flagship from the company, set to launch on January 11th, next year. iQOO has started teasing the next top tier smartphone on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The teased images confirm what to expect from the next flagship, which typically features the next flagship Snapdragon chipset. While the Mi 11 made its debut with the new Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, not long ago, the iQOO 7 is ready to kick start with the same in the new year.
iQOO 7 — Snapdragon 888 SoC
The iQOO 7 will be featuring the latest top tier Snapdragon 888 SoC, developed by Qualcomm. This also makes the device 5G capable alongside bringing top of the line specifications. The teasers from iQOO on microblogging site also suggest that the company is collaborating with BMW for its next flagship phone. This could mean we can expect a special edition of the iQOO 7 partnered with BMW. To recall, OnePlus did this with Mercedes, to bring the McLaren edition of OnePlus 7T and 6T.

The teasers further emphasizes on the Snapdragon 888 SoC as it’s the first processor built on a 5nm process. This further means the iQOO 7 equips faster storage formats like LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Since we are into specs, the benchmarking tool Antutu, again on Weibo, a new score implying the flagship iQOO smartphone. iQOO also confirms that it’s their iQOO 7 indeed.
The achieved benchmark score shows a 752935 rating running on Snapdragon 888 SoC. It further reveals that the flagship could support a 120Hz refresh rate display.
Additionally, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage option of the device is further implied on the latest benchmark score. It further suggests Snapdragon 888 SoC’s individual core scores as well. For instance, the flagship achieved a 200616 CPU score and 340539 GPU score.
