OPPO Find X - Bends

OPPO spun heads when it introduced the Find X, which is hailed as the coolest smartphone. Announced last month at a posh event in Paris. The Find X is available in India as well for a whopping Rs 59,990 price tag. Most of you guys have been asking us on our YouTube and Instagram channels regarding the durability of the OPPO’s new flagship.

Well, of course, we were not up to a liberty to test the review unit under the harsh conditions. But on the other hand, JerryRigEverything was not, which is why he brought us the durability test. On his latest video, he has showcased us that the OPPO might have forgotten to put its phone on a bend test before releasing it into the market.

The Find X faired pretty well in most of the durability tests where Zack (Host of JRE channel). He put the device through various tests where the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 was scratched roughly, burned for at least 15 seconds, and ultimately put to the class bend test. We were not completely surprised to see it snap pretty quickly. These days when most of the flagships survive this test, it is terrible to see a 60K smartphone breaking that easily.

Long story short guys, if you’re planning to buy the OPPO Find X. It is recommended you keep it in the case and never put it in your back pocket. Because it may not survive a fall or a break inside your jeans back pocket.
