Google Assistant will feature in a Jio phone, making it the first ever AI-based Virtual Assistant to come in a mobile phone. The Jio phones are already loaded with an assistant that takes voice commands, it is capable of working under the 4G VoLTE connection. It is known as HelloJio which takes voice commands from the users about making calls or searching for contacts etc. The Google Assistant will be available in Hindi and English in order to take commands. This is the first time that Google Assistant has come into a phone, it will deliver all the voice commands given by the user.
The mobile phone has a 2.4-inch display and runs on KAI operating system with 4 GB internal memory and expandable up to 128 GB. It supports Wi-Fi and has a 2,000 mAh battery backup. The phone was released in July 2017 and its supply started in October 2017.
It includes voice commands which help in controlling specific functions and is available for Rs. 1,500.
Just like any other high priced smartphone Google Assistant is at your service on your Jio phone. It is ready to give you information about your queries via text as well as in conversation. Though there will be a slight disadvantage in this because of the small 2.4-inch display of the Jio phone. The users will be able to use the internet and make calls and video calls via voice commands.
Though the Google Assistant is available only in high-end phones it is a great deal that it is now functioning on the Reliance Jio Phone.
