Lenovo K8 Note Quick Look and Camera samples

Lenovo just unveiled the K8 Note in India starting at 12,999 for the 3/32GB version and 13,999 for the 4/64GB version, but is the K8 Note any good? So the K8 Note is a beautiful device and it’s evident that lenovo has stepped up their build quality substantially. The smooth metal and the chamfers give a very comfortable feel. The next thing we see here is the beautiful 5.5″ full HD display. it’s a budget phone and this is one of the best screens you can get in this category, the colors look good and the display doesn’t show any signs of pixelation. Bezels could’ve been thinner but the size is still manageable so no worries there.

The device packs in a 2.3GHz Helio X23 with 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB on-board storage. Now, the good news here is that Lenovo has followed sister company Motorola to have 3 separate slots, 2 sim and 1 micro-SD.

The biggest change this year and the best one yet is the use of stock android in favor of VIBE UI, now VIBE UI isn’t bad by any means and a lot of people enjoy using it, but stock android has no competition whatsoever. The stock android makes the phone just fly through everything and with 3/4GB RAM and a very powerful Helio X23 the performance should be a breeze even after installing a lot of apps. The battery here is a beefy 4000mAh which isn’t much of an upgrade from last year, but it doesn’t need to be. The smartphone has a respectably thin profile and the fact that they stuffed such a huge capacity inside is commendable.
