Lenovo K5 Note and Lenovo A5 announced alongside the Lenovo Z5 in China

Lenovo launched two other smartphones alongside the Lenovo Z5 in China today. Both the handsets are somewhat low-end compared to the Lenovo Z5, in terms of internals. One of them is the Lenovo K5 Note, the other is Lenovo A5. The Lenovo K5 Note starts at 799 Yuan (Approximately Rs 8,399) while the A5 is priced at 599 Yuan (Approximately Rs 6,299). Besides three smartphones, the company also launched a smartwatch called Watch X and a 4TB hard drive.

Lenovo K5 Note China Variant

Talking about the higher-end of the two, this seems to be a relaunch of the Indian version in China. The Lenovo K5 Note has a 6.0-inch screen with no notch and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz chipset and has 4GB/3GB of RAM.

In terms of camera, there is a 16MP + 8MP sensor at the back while the front has just an 8MP shooter. Of course, all three devices come with ZUI 4.0 and the K5 Note has a 3,760mAh battery.

The Lenovo K5 Note has two storage variants – 3GB + 32GB that costs 799 Yuan ($125/INR 8500) and 4GB + 64GB variant that costs 999 Yuan ($155/INR 10,500). it has three color shades – Black, Gold, and Blue.

As for the Lenovo A5, it is an entry-level device with a 5.45-inch display and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a 1.5GHz chipset with 3GB of RAM in tow. The Lenovo A5 also has a dual camera system but the primary sensor is downgraded to a 13MP lens. The rear, however, maintains the same 8MP lens like the K5 Note.

It has a 4,000mAh battery and ZUI 4.0 running as software. The Lenovo A5 costs 599 Yuan ($95/Rs 6,300) for the one and only 3GB + 16GB model. The new smartphones will go on sale starting June 12.
