Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is the slimmest tablet under premier segment launched by the company in India. It measures only 5.8mm in thickness and features a bigger and more prominent screen. According to Lenovo, the tablet market in India in recent times has seen an immense rise when it comes to sales. Many professionals, and especially students have adapted to work from home and learn from home scenarios, due to the ongoing pandemic. This latest offering from Lenovo seems to bring in more premium features with the latest Pro tablet.

The Tab P11 Pro will be available for sale starting February 13th and it also has add ons including a magnetic keyboard and a Pen, which ships later this year. The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro retails at Rs 44,999 and as part of a launch offer for 30-days, the tablet costs Rs 49,999 along with the magnetic keyboard (Keyboard cover), which post the offer costs Rs 10,000.

Display and Design
The Tab P11 Pro comes with an 11.5-inches OLED display with 2560×1600 resolution and 500nits brightness. It supports HDR along with Dolby Vision. Moreover, it comes with TÜV Rheinland, Netflix HD certifications, and Lenovo Eye Care mode. The display further features minimal bezels and achieves 87% screen to body ratio. And, it encloses in an ultra-slim aluminium unibody chassis that comes with a dual-tone finish on the back, and the tablet, on the whole, weighs 485 grams.
Under the hood
The Tab P11 Pro is using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC underneath. It is an octa-core processor built on an 8nm process with clock speeds of up to 2.2GHz. It further utilizes Adreno 618GPU, for graphics, and Snapdragon’s Elite gaming accompanied with it. The tablet comes in 6GB of RAM (LPDDR4x) and 128GB (UFS 2.1) of built-in storage, with microSD expansion support restricted to 256GB. Besides, it ships with Android 10 out of the box.
For audio, the Tab P11 Pro equips quad JBL speakers with 2.5cc chambers that are said to be optimised by Dolby Atmos including smart algorithms to deliver a cinematic surround sound for the user.
There’s a prominent 8600mAh battery that powers the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support. Lenovo says the tablet could support up to 15 hours of video playback, and chargers through USB Type-C. It further supports Reverse Charging functionality as well.
There are four cameras on the latest tablet — two on the front and two on the rear. The rear ones comprise a 13MP wide-angle camera coupled with 5MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, there’s an 8MP RGB and an 8MP IR camera. The front cameras along with ToF sensors are said to be giving a secure face unlock feature, no matter the orientation in which the tablet is in, which appears to be handy.
The other highlights of the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro include Fingerprint sensor (embedded in the power button), Microsoft Office app (preloaded), dedicated hotkeys for shortcuts and Google Assistant, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 10-point multi-touch support and LTE with SIM support.
The additional keyboard cover is said to be featuring ample keyspace with 1.3mm of key travel. It further uses a hinge mechanism which could make the Tab P11 Pro position itself ranging from 0-165 degrees. Meanwhile, the Precision Pen 2 promises increased accuracy, features 4096 levels of pressure and tilt detection and delivers 100hours of usage with a built-in 60mAh battery.
