After several high-quality press renders of the LG G7 ThinQ, live images have appeared online ahead of its launch. The LG flagship which resembles many other notch-toting phones like the Oppo F7 is slated to be revealed at an event in New York.
LG started to tease the handset a week back with many features but the notch was suspected way back at MWC 2018. However, LG wants to make it easier for those who just don’t like the sight of it with a toggle to hide it. But if you’ve become immune to it, then let’s talk about the other stuff. The rear of the LG G7 ThinQ has a shiny glass panel which is imprinted with the new LG G7 ThinQ branding. There are dual cameras on the rear placed just atop the fingerprint reader.
The front display is expected to be a 6.1-inch QHD+ LCD panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Camera details are yet to be revealed but by LG’s standards, we could see last year’s LG V30 setup on the flagship.

As usual, LG will stuff the phone with the standard flagship-grade material we expect of the company. However, there will be some extras to look forward to. Speaking of which, the company teased a ‘Boombox Speaker’. There will also be a dedicated Google Assistant button and a super bright screen that maxes out at 1000 nits. Further, the glass back gives us the impression that wireless charging will be there. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack should likely feature 3D Surround Sound technology.
