Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2s has been in the rumours since last year. But we still have yet to see a comprehensive leak of its legit design. There have been a couple of leaks that revealed a notch design with a very small cutout on the top right of the screen. However, a new leak paints a completely new picture. The new image snaps the real Mi Mix 2s and shows off its complete frontal build.
Xiaomi recently shared a teaser of the Mi Mix 2s launch event. The teaser contained hints of the Mi Mix 2s design. From that teaser, we can conclude that Xiaomi intends to evolve its previous iterations of the Mix series. Hence, the above image seems to be the logical next step in the evolving design.
The Mi Mix 2s will feature a much slimmer bottom bezel making it very close to the Vivo Apex. The leaked images do show visible edges on all sides like the Mi Mix 2. Also, the front camera seems to have been repositioned to the centre of the bottom bezel.
Apart from the design, the handset is tipped to come with many firsts. Both an in-display fingerprint reader and wireless charging have been rumoured. But the latter has now been confirmed.
There’s still a couple of weeks to go before the launch. And with Xiaomi dropping hints of new features, it surely is going to get interesting as we near the launch date. The phone launches on March 27 at an event in Shanghai.
