Pete Lau has been an interesting CEO. Not only has he cleared the air over the 3.5mm headphone jack and wireless charging issues of the OnePlus 5T, he has made it a point to keep the upcoming phone in news! A few hours ago, Lau has tweeted a picture shot in an extremely low light situation. Of course, the camera belongs to the OnePlus 5T and Lau’s picture does look mesmerizing. Doesn’t it?
The shot looks radiant and even the tiny details have been highlighted well. Though Lau hasn’t mentioned OnePlus 5T anywhere, you can be sure that this picture has been shot by the upcoming flagship since OnePlus teased the low light ability of OnePlus 5 in the same way. But the shot taken by the 5T looks much better than its predecessor and we are quite satisfied by what we see!
In the image, you can see an escalator in an excruciatingly low lit room. The only source of light is through the orange strips on the ceiling and rails. Despite the situation, OnePlus 5T performed much better than other phones in the market would. The image noise is evidently less and that is a good news for OnePlus customers indeed!
The camera setup of the device has already been discussed plenty of times and we know that OnePlus 5T packs a dual rear camera sensor of 16 MP+ 20 MP and the front shooter of 16 MP for perfect selfies. But how is the shot better than what OnePlus 5 could do? The devices are the same except the bigger display and hence aspect ratio in the upcoming phone!
We think that OnePlus may have done away the telephoto lens, which they were using extensively earlier, and instead put a second 20MP sensor behind the front lens with an f1.7 aperture. This might be the reason why this image looks so stunning!
Are you waiting for the OnePlus 5T too? What are your expectations from the device? Let us know in the comments section below.
