Lypertek Levi is the latest offering from the audio equipment maker. The company first forayed into India with Lypertek Tevi — the sibling to these new true wireless earbuds. Tevi had performed remarkably well in our review. And, the new Levi promises to deliver the equivalent at a more affordable price range.
Lypertek Levi — Design and Specifications
The new Levi earbuds are in-ear buds that come with a charging case. The charging case looks familiar, and when compared to the Tevi, it is surely a reversal. Unlike the Tevi (came with fabric coating on top), the charging case here happens to attain a matte-plastic finish build. The earbuds in the case come with silicone tips in addition to double tangle tips with different size formats.
The true wireless earbuds on the inside come with 6mm Neodymium Dynamic drivers featuring frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz. Since Levi tends to go under affordable range, the company is dropping Qualcomm AptX codec support (featured in Tevi) in favour of AAC and SBC codec support on the new earbuds. These earbuds promise a snug fit and offer an ambient sound mode, which can allow outside sound to go through. This makes them safer to use in the outdoor environment.
The Levi wireless earbuds support Bluetooth 5.0 when it comes to connectivity, and besides, they also feature IPX5 rating. This should save the earbuds from water/sweat splashes during an intense workout. There’s a multifunctional button placed on the earbuds with which a user can control music or volume or can access respective digital assistants of their smartphones as well.
Moreover, the Levi earbuds support an 8-hour battery backup on a single charge, and the wireless charging case claims to provide an additional 40 hours. This accumulates to a total of 48 hours of music playback, which is quite significant — furthermore, the charging case charges via USB Type-C. A fifteen-minute quick charge provides a two hour playback time, additionally.
Lypertek Levi — Pricing
