As per an exclusive report by PCMag India, Meizu is coming back to India with its most recently released flagship smartphone, the 16 series. The Chinese smartphone maker has been out of touch with its Indian community as it stopped released phones quite a while ago. For those who aren’t aware of the Meizu 16 series phone, these are the flagship smartphones offered at an incredibly aggressive pricing. Something OnePlus and POCO phone users could relate to.
Taking the competition to next level, the company plans to go head-on with an entirely new range catering to different price brackets. It is believed that the brand is wholeheartedly planning to enter back into the Indian smartphone market. And they are probably going to start with a premium offering targeting the likes of OnePlus 6T.
Meizu 16 Plus could be coming to India
Currently, Meizu is one of those rare manufacturers that have not folded hands against the notch design in order to introduce bezel-less phone. Instead, the company is very well following the Samsung by keeping thinner bezels on its offerings. The Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus were officially launched in China in August this year. And it is likely that the Plus variant would be making its way rather than the regular model.
The Meizu 16 Plus brings interesting prepositions to its case when it comes to the sea of smartphones in India. It comes with curvy arc-like design, 20MP front camera, dual rear cameras, 7.3mm thickness, in-display fingerprint sensor like OP 6T. And there is the Snapdragon 845 processor, which easily go hand-to-hand with most of the Android smartphones unless you take Huawei’s recent Mate 20 Pro. Well, let’s not go to that level of premium-ness.
