Meizu 16T with Snapdragon 855 SoC launched in China at Rs 20,000 approximately

Meizu has announced its latest flagship smartphone in China today, the Meizu 16T. The smartphone manufacturer has been rumoured to introduce the upgrade to Meizu 16, its last year’s flagship. Today it has launched the same. For starters, the new Meizu 16T comes with Snapdragon 855 processor and is priced at Rs 20,000 approximately (1999 Yuan). 

Let’s talk more on the specifications and configurations of this phone below. 

Meizu 16T Specifications 

Sporting a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with notch-less design. It’s a full HD+ display and 600 nits brightness level. It weighs at 183 grams and has a thickness of 8.3mm. As far as the ports are concerned, it has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display with a response time of 0.2s. 

The Meizu 16T comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and is configured with RAM up to 8GB and storage up to 256GB. There will be total of three variants; 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. It offers UFS 3.0 type storage. It will be running on the Flyme 8 OS based on the Android 9 Pie. 

Speaking of the camera department, it has a triple rear camera setup. The primary lens is of 12MP, secondary lens is of 8MP (wide-angle lens), and a third 5MP lens, probably for depth sensing. The front camera setup includes a 16MP resolution lens. 

The company teases that it will allow wide angle shots of 115 degrees and macro shots of objects from as close as 2.5 cm. All this is powered by a 4500mAh capacity battery, which is supported by 18W fast charging technology. It packs a dual stereo speaker setup as far as he audio experience is concerned. 

Meizu 16T Price & Availability 

Meizu is bringing its latest flagship at a price tag of just Rs 20,000 approx. (1999 Yuan) for the 6GB + 128GB model. While the 8GB + 128GB will cost Rs 23,000 approx. (2299 Yuan) and the 8GB + 256GB model will be fetched for Rs 25,000 (2499 Yuan). It will be available in three colour variants; Red, Green, and Purple.
