Meizu M6T could launch soon as Flipkart exclusive in India

Meizu M6T

Meizu is reportedly launching its budget device, the Meizu M6T, in India soon. A new exclusively report from Meizumatters says that the handset is launching on Flipkart with introductory offers from Jio. The info has been obtained from a Meizu official and while it does state a launch is going to happen, when that happens is anybody’s guess.

Meizu’s focus on India has been waning for the last few years after the likes of Xiaomi started dominating the second largest market in the world. It recently launched the 6-month old Meizu M6 in India. Before that, the premium Meizu Pro 7 was also late show-up in India and launched silently without much fanfare. If the same happens with the Meizu M6T, we can hardly see the handset selling well in India.

Meizu M6T Specifications

For now, the Meizu M6T does offer bang for the buck. It has an attractive metal body design with a 5.7-inch HD+ display blanketing the front of the device. On the inside, there’s a MediaTek MT6750 chip clocked at 1.5 GHz with a Mali-T860 GPU. The Meizu M6T has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

The device has a 13MP + 2MP setup at the back and an 8 MP front camera fueled by a 3,300 mAh battery. If the Chinese price is any indication, the Meizu M6T should cost around Rs 8,500. India’s entry-level has gotten many powerful competitors at that price with the Redmi 5 offering better processing power but less RAM and the slightly expensive Realme 1 offering a vastly superior SoC.
