We just saw an official Mi 6X yesterday from Xiaomi with the company letting us in on some camera details of the phone. However, today the company is treating us with an HD video teaser that shows the phone design in great detail.
The teaser confirms the Mi 6X will come in four colours: Red, Gold, Blue, and Black. There’s also a Rose Gold or Pink colour which appears very briefly. Apart from that, the obvious dual rear camera is visible too.
Recently, it came to be known through firmware files that the Mi 6X will feature a Snapdragon 660 pumping up out excitement by a few notches. Besides that, some high-res images of the phone have also been posted on Weibo which we share below. As for the video, you’ll have to visit the link in the source at the end of the article.
The front camera is also in for an upgrade as it is likely to feature a 20MP camera as yesterday’s teaser revealed. The Mi 5X or Mi A1 was already a great device but these teasers promise the Mi 6X to be of an even higher level.
On the other hand, it now seems that the Mi A1 which was seemingly discontinued will soon be repopulated. A Xiaomi representative stated to Gadgets 360 that the “Mi A1 is not discontinued in India, and it will return for sale soon.” To be honest, it is early to be talking about the Mi A2. The handset should be expected in Q3, if at all, in India.
