Mi Band 3 with OLED display, 20 days of battery life, and waterproofing launched in China

Xiaomi has had a big launch day today and most eyes will be on the two marquee products, the Mi 8, and MIUI 10, the Mi Band 3 was also unveiled today. We had a sniff of this upcoming fitness tracker as company CEO Lei Jun was found wearing one at the Black Shark event. Also, just before launch, a lot of info regarding the same was divulged in the realm of Weibo.

What are the Mi Band 3 specifications?

The Mi Band 3 comes two years after its predecessor and also inherits a bigger body while maintaining the previous design. The convex screen measures 0.78-inches and is of the OLED variety. It kind of curves to the end to meet the straps. The OLED panel is touch-sensitive and will allow users to interact with a variety of functions.

Some of them include muting a call setting alarms, heart rate monitor to name a few. Needless to say, it also has caller ID and fitness related features. For example, sleep tracker, daily step counter, and sedentary reminder are some of them. The promised battery life is 20 days, however, that might be including standby mode.

The Mi Band 3 is also waterproof up to 50 meters and the straps come in three colors – Black, Navy Blue, and Matte Red. It is priced at 169 yuan in China, which converts to Rs 1,899 approximately. Are you going to pick this up once its launched in India? Let us know in the comments section below.
