Like we’ve earlier said in one of our articles, the Mi Mix 2s story is still yet to have genuine design leaks. It seems we don’t need a leak now to guess the design. Specifically speaking, Xiaomi has outed a teaser for the upcoming launch event on March 27. And by the looks of it, it might be far less impressive than what we had earlier imagined.
Xiaomi, teased the location of the launch event on Weibo with the teaser yesterday. The event will be held in Shanghai. But, the more interesting part is the front design that is teased in the render. Earlier leaks have printed a picture of the Mi Mix 2s with no bezels whatsoever except a small notch secluded on the top right side. Well, that is not going to happen. In fact, Xiaomi is following the design of the Mi Mix 2. Although we aren’t seeing any bottom bezels in the teaser, there has to be one for the selfie camera. Otherwise, Xiaomi would have to add a pop-up camera like the Vivo Apex.
It is more likely that Xiaomi would further slim down the bottom bezel and place the selfie camera in the same place. As of now, the previously leaked renders with the notch are now all outdated.

Xiaomi has teased the rear cameras of the handset extensively. The Chinese brand intends to use AI for enhanced photo quality as well as dual snappers. Furthermore, the Mi Mix 2s will also rock a Snapdragon 845 chip on the inside.
A recent render leaked two days back that showed a live image of the rear camera. According to that render, the dual camera setup is exactly like the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Also, there’s a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device.
