Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 images and price leaked ahead of June 25 launch in China

Mi Pad 4

We have three days to go before the launch of the Mi Pad 4, and several vital details have either been revealed by Xiaomi or by info coming from Weibo. The company has revealed yesterday that the Mi Pad 4 will include a Snapdragon 660 SoC, via one of its teasers. That combined with an 8.0-inch display makes it a tablet worth waiting for. Today, the brand also disclosed that its fourth generation tablet would boast face recognition software, via yet another teaser.

However, what has been missing is an actual picture of the physical product. Now that too has been exposed with almost official-looking images of the electronic slate. Looking at the images, we can say there isn’t an overall big change in design. Instead, there is a refinement of the screen. The Mi Pad 4 shows a beautiful display with curved corners and has thin bezels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The rear has a single camera as well as the front and there are two colours – Gold and Black.

Some pricing details of the tab have also been outed by Slashleaks today. As per the popular tipster, the Mi Pad 4 base model 4GB + 64GB will be priced CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,600). There will be an LTE model as well that will cost CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,800). This model will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Obviously, that kind of pricing is killer for the already dying mid-range tablet segment. The Mi Pad 4 launches on June 25 in China.
