Motorola announced the price cut on its Twitter account which brings down the price of the product to Rs 9,999.

Motorola temporarily slashed Rs 2,000 off the handset back in December but this is the biggest discount on the phone yet. At this price, the handset definitely becomes much more appealing than it was before but it is still hard to suggest compared to some Chinese offerings like the Redmi Note 5.

Meanwhile, Motorola is close to launching the next iteration of the Moto G series in ten days time. Most specs and design traits of the G6 series has already leaked.
