Following Motorola’s invites for an April 19 event, the Moto G5S has received a massive price cut in India. This isn’t a permanent price cut through, and it will end on April 11 starting from today. Motorola announced the price cut on its Twitter account which brings down the price of the product to Rs 9,999.
The Moto G5S Plus originally cost Rs 14,999 and can be purchased in a Lunar Gray and Fine Gold shade. The offer can be availed on Amazon. The Moto G5S has a Snapdragon 430-toting 5.2-inch display with FHD resolution topped by Gorilla glass. It features 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage expandable storage.
Unlike its Plus counterpart, the Moto G5S has a single 16MP rear camera with PDAF. While the front houses a single 5MP shooter. The handset runs Android Nougat on a 3000mAh battery that comes with a 15W Turbocharger.
Motorola temporarily slashed Rs 2,000 off the handset back in December but this is the biggest discount on the phone yet. At this price, the handset definitely becomes much more appealing than it was before but it is still hard to suggest compared to some Chinese offerings like the Redmi Note 5.
Meanwhile, Motorola is close to launching the next iteration of the Moto G series in ten days time. Most specs and design traits of the G6 series has already leaked.
