Yesterday only, we came to know about the leaked specifications of the Motorola Moto G7. Today, the CAD renders of the device have been spotted and some crucial details of the phone have been revealed. Primarily, the Moto G7 is the first ever G-series phone to have a notch. Its predecessor didn’t have a notch and hence, had prominent bezels on the 18:9 aspect ratio display. The notch on the upcoming phone is not huge but looks like a water droplet. Interestingly, the corners of the display are also curved and give a premium feel to the mid-range phone.
We can clearly see a dual rear camera setup on the phone with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the “M” logo of the company. The rear panel seems to be made of glossy metal and is quite reflective. The Moto G7 still has visible bezels with a chin on the bottom where the “Motorola” logo fits. So, if you were expecting the phone to look as bezel-less as its other competitors, then this could come as a bad news for you. The notch is also a home to the earpiece and a selfie snapper.
The bottom part of the Moto G7 contains the speaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. According to the previous leaks, the phone could have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display. The SoC powering the device will be an octa-core processor but we don’t know the specific name yet. The phone is also likely to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. The dual rear cameras are likely to sport a 16MP + 5MP sensors and the selfie snapper will have a 12MP lens as well.
The phone will feature a bigger 3500mAh battery and would launch with Android Pie out-of-the-box. The probable launch date of the phone is somewhere in 2019 and so, you should take all this information with a grain of salt. Would you like to see all these features on the Moto G7?
