The Motorola One Power has been a surprise entry in 2018 as far as Motorola’s portfolio is concerned. The handset’s visual looks were recently outed by Android Headlines. Now, the internal specifications of the handset have just appeared online.
As per the leak by Techienize, the Motorola One Power will feature a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2280 pixel resolution. The aspect ratio is 19:9 due to the notch on the top side of the screen. The handset will feature a Snapdragon 636, the same as in the Lenovo Z5. RAM and storage are declared as 4GB and 64GB respectively.
More than meets the eye: Motorola One Power
That’s not all. We have an idea of the camera side of things too. The rear will house two shooters one of which will be a 12MP + 5MP sensor. The aperture for the same is f/1.8, f/2.0 respectively. On the other hand, the front sensor is 8MP. Also, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the relatively chunky 3760mAh lithium cell that’s the power source. Needless to say, it will fuel Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
These specs coupled with the obvious similarity in looks makes us think whether Lenovo is using the Z5 inventory for two products. It seemed that they’ve learned lessons from Xiaomi. That said, a Motorola Android One phone is good to see but when we’ll be seeing this actually on shelves is a question we don’t have an answer to. Neither do we know whether this will be priced as aggressively as the Lenovo Z5.
What do you guys think? Is this a good move from Lenovo? Will this device manage to sell well? Chime in with your comments in the sections below.
