Many Apple fans have been dying to see the Cupertino giant release some new colours on the iPhone line. It looks like their prayers might just get answered this year. While we know Apple will most certainly release three new iPhone versions this year in September, a new report has surfaced suggesting there will be at least three colour options for the upcoming Apple smartphones. The report comes from Ming-Chi Kuo who is a renowned source of info when it comes to unreleased Apple devices.

As per the report, cited by 9to5Mac, the biggest 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will be released in Black, White, and a new Gold colour. While the 6.1-inch LCD variant will get as many as five shades ranging from grey, white, blue, red, to even orange options. As for the 5.8-inch iPhone, there isn’t much info available right now. However, the last time we saw so many colours was back with the affordable iPhone 5C in 2013 that had Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink, and White hues courtesy of its non-metallic body.
Currently, Apple simply relies on three colours mostly with the typical Grey/Black and white options while the iPhone 8 also has a Gold colour variant. Apple also released a Product (RED) variant as part of a campaign to fight HIV and AIDS in Africa.
