Sony Xperia XZ Premium is now getting an update which will fix the camera bug and bring in new security patches. It was the first Sony handset to get upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo last month. Now the company intends on keeping the devices up to date in terms of security.
Sony has started rolling out the security patches for Android-built-in, they were earlier rolled out for Nexus and Pixel devices by Google. They have been swift in adopting this update as the rollout by Google began this week.
This new software is also for fixing the camera issue which made the autofocus sensors not work properly. After the update, your device will be on build number 47.1.A.5.51 up from 47.1.A.3.254.
