While Nokia has already unveiled its affordable lineup of smartphones including the Nokia 3.1, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 5.1 globally, it is only now that the Nokia 3.1 has arrived in India. The budget handset has been priced Rs 10,499 and will be sold online on Nokia’s store and Paytm Mall, as well as retail outlets across the country.

Nokia 3.1 Specifications

Looking at the spec-sheet, the Nokia 3.1 looks like a phone from yesteryear, especially coming from a brand that just launched the Nokia X5. If the Nokia X5 is a high value for money, the Nokia 3.2 is its exact opposite.

Quickly summarizing the spec-sheet, the Nokia 3.1 comes with a 5.2-inch (720 x 1440 pixels) HD+ panel that is protected by 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass. Underneath the display is the brains of the handset – the MediaTek MT6750N with a Mali T860 GPU. That is supported with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal expandable storage at a time when you can easily get 3GB + 32GB at that price point. Thankfully, it runs Android Oreo and pure stock at that.

The Nokia 3.1 sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture on both sides. The unimpressive package is rounded off with a 2,900mAh battery that can run FM Radio dual SIM, and 4G VoLTE. The handset comes in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome, and White/Iron choices.
