The Nokia 5.1 Plus just appeared for a TENAA treatment. Surprisingly it will become the second Nokia handset with a notch to be seen on Chinese turf yesterday. Even its first global appearance was astonishing and at first, was suspected to be a Nokia X6. However, this is a completely different handset and it has appeared alongside the Nokia X6 overseas in Taiwan. So a global release is not far off too.
Since we’ve seen good enough CAD renders of the phone, what remained hidden in the confines of the metal chassis is now revealed by TENAA, almost all of it. For essentials, TENAA reports an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz. It could either be a Snapdragon 6xx series chip or even an Helio P-series can’t be ruled out since Nokia does use them.
Nokia 5.1 Plus Specifications
It has a huge 5.86-inch display with HD+ 720 x 1520 pixel resolution and of course, a bigger notch than the Nokia X6. It also flaunts a dual rear camera system – a combo of 13MP + 8MP sensors and a 3,000mAh battery. If anyone’s aware of Nokia’s Android software strategy. They can be sure we’ll see at least Android Oreo on the device.
Nokia 5.1 Plus RAM and storage variants include 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB of RAM along with either 32GB or 64GB of expandable internal storage. Launch dates are not announced but we’re expecting a global as well as a Chinese launch soon enough.
