Nokia brings an enticing change to its mid-range segment. The new Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 upgrades are announced at the IFA Berlin event. Elevating its midrange portfolio are the two new Nokia phones. HMD Global has taken the centre stage today in Germany. Let’s talk about the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 specs and features below.
Nokia 7.2 Specs and Features
HDM Global brings out a device for its fanatics, keeping the iconic Nokia design language solid on the 7.2, it claims to deliver amazing camera, display, and battery experience. Starting with the camera, it has a triple rear camera setup, where a 48MP sensor takes the center stage along with support from Zeiss optics. The remaining sensors are; 5MP depth sensor and 8MP wide-angle lens. On the front, you will be getting a 20MP Quad Pixel f/2.0 aperture Zeiss optics enabled lens.
The features like Quad Pixel technology, DSLR like bokeh effects, AI low light image fusion technology, strengthen the camera setup on the Nokia 7.2. It is said to come with PureDisplay technology offering an Always-on HDR display. The screen will be of 6.3-inch Full HD+ display,
The Nokia 7.2 will be available in three colours including Cyan Green, Charcoal, and Ice. There will be a dedicated Google Assistant button, notification LED, NFC, and type-C port. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, accompanied by a 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage.
All this would be powered by a 3500 mAh capacity battery. It is said to give two days of battery life. It will be supporting 5v/2A charging technology. The handset will be running on the Android 9 Pie out of the box but will be upgradable to Android 10. Since it will be a part o Android One program, it is said to receive three years security updates and two years guaranteed OS upgrades.
Nokia 7.2 will be priced at 300 Euro (Rs ) for the 4GB + 64GB model. And it will be made available at the end of September.
Nokia 6.2 Specs and Features
Nokia 6.2 packs the same design language and if not for the ZEISS optic branding you’d mistake it for Nokia 7.2. Sporting the same display, battery size, and charging technology. The difference starts at the camera level.
The triple rear camera setup includes 16MP + 8MP + 5MP. Minus the pixel binning technology, it has fusion and HDR, and night mode. The selfie camera setup is at 8MP, instead of 20MP on the Nokia 7.2.
The other major difference is the Snapdragon 636 chipset. And the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage support. The Nokia 6.2 price will be 200 Euro (Rs ) 3/32 version. While there will be a 4/64 version going for 250 Euro. It will be available in ceramic black and ice colours, availability from October.
