Nokia 7 is all set to arrive in India this month. The phone was launched some time ago in China and its sale was limited to the country as well. A reader of the Nokia Power User has mentioned that Amazon has revealed the device’s arrival in India to him. The phone will arrive in the last week of January and is likely to be an Amazon exclusive.
However, nothing substantial is known about the pricing front but it is speculated that the phone will launch at an estimated price of Rs 20,999.
Nokia 7 – specs
Nokia 7 is the first smartphone from HMD Global to feature a glass back. The 3D curved glass panel on the rear is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and the frame of the device is made up of 7000 Series aluminum. Nokia hasn’t made the transition to 18:9 aspect ratio display or bezel-less design yet.
Nokia 7 comes with a 5.2 inches FHD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, protected by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor, coupled with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The internal memory is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone is powered by 3000mAh battery with fast charging support and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. The phone sports a 16MP camera sensor on the back with a 5MP selfie snapper on the front.
Nokia 7 – availability and price in other countries
Nokia 7 is likely to reach the European countries in February. This information has been confirmed by a Romanian retailer, Quick Mobile, as it has listed the device on its website at a price of €325 which roughly translates to $392. The phone also comes with a 24 month warranty period.
