Nokia 9 has finally shown up and what a show has it been! The phone is releasing on January 19 next year (it’s a speculation, so yeah, it can be delayed) and now that it is just a few days away from launch, the device has been certified by FCC and listed on GeekBench. The certification and listing have made the specs and features pretty clear and now that we have them, let’s scrutinize and see what’s so special about this phone.
Nokia 9 on FCC – specs and model number unveiled
Zyad Atef has taken to Twitter to unleash this important piece of information regarding the Nokia 9 and one can clearly see all the specifications of the phone in the image.
According to this image by FCC, the phone will have a 5.5″ OLED display by Samsung which is known for giving out a vibrant color reproduction. The device has been given the model number TA-1005 on FCC listing.
The phone has been listed to have a dual main camera with a combination of 12 MP+ 13 MP sensors. The selfie snapper of the phone will be laced with a 5 MP camera sensor and we can already sense the amazing photos which this phone would be capable of clicking!
Nokia 9 will also have the Dual Sight feature of the Nokia 8 and 7. The ROM on the phone is expected to be 128 GB but we cannot say if the company will release the 64 GB variant of the phone. The device will be given a 3250mAh battery for long-lasting performance. The processor on the phone will be the Qualcomm MSM8998, aka, the Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor.

Nokia 9 on GeekBench listing – code name and score
On one hand, FCC has revealed all about the specs of the Nokia 9, GeekBench listing has also given us some really interesting piece of news. For starters, the listing has revealed that the phone is nicknamed Avatar.
However, the listing has not revealed any confirmation of the processor. Apart from the codename, the RAM and OS on the Nokia 9 have been mentioned. The phone will have 6 Gigs of RAM and will run Android 8.0 Oreo. Samsung, are you listening?
Now, coming to the most important part, the phone has been given a score of 1910 on single core test and 6796 points on multi-core test. The Galaxy Note 8, the most premium device by Samsung so far, scored 6475 on GeekBench! No, we are not kidding.
Since the device has performed even better than the giant itself, we definitely are looking forward to its release and the sooner it is, the better is its chance of taking over the market!
