HMD Global has done a fantastic job with Nokia so far, in terms of reviving the brand. The company has launched a plethora of devices in all various market divisions, and they’ve been getting mostly positive feedback. However, its latest flagship device, the Nokia 8 Sirocco, has been a different story. Despite a premium build, the device hasn’t sold that well in the market. Now, it seems like the company has already moved on, and is focussing on its newer flagship, the Nokia 9.
Nokia 9 leaks
The Nokia 9 is expected to come with a total of seven rings on the rear. According to leaked specs, five of them are said to be the camera lenses. The sixth is a dual-tone LED flash unit, while the seventh (on the right) could be a dual-sensor likely be used for proximity detection. That being said, as of now there is no word on the nature of the lenses. It could very well pack a telephoto lens, a wide-angle lens, and a depth-sensing camera. One can notice the Zeiss branding between two lenses. However, the device is also said to resurrect the PureView branding, despite no signs of it on the leaked renders.
