After the official launch of the Nokia X6 in China last month, the handset has been selling like hot cakes. Nokia mobiles officially posted an image yesterday saying that it was the second-best seller on JD. Moreover, the handset has gone out of stock in four consecutive sales held since launch. Despite this, there’s no concrete sign of a global launch until now.

Nokia X6 Global Variant

The Nokia X6 just visited Taiwan’s NCC equivalent to what is TENAA for China. This is as close a confirmation as we can get for a launch. The model number TA-1103 doesn’t exactly say that it is the Nokia X6 but it is similar to the original TA-1099 model number. We expect the Nokia X6 internals to remain the same as the one in China.

The way it has been selling in China says a lot of its prospects in other Asian countries. Indeed, it is of immense value for money, something Nokia is very famous for. The Nokia X6 is the first notch phone from the house of HMD Global to boast of a Snapdragon 636 chipset with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The display measures 5.8-inches and has a Full-HD+ resolution on a 19:9 aspect ratio.

Dual cameras on the back – 16MP + 5MP complete the excellent package with a 3,060mAh battery encased in a shiny metal glass mixture. The handset sells for around $204. Let us know in the comments if you’d be interested in this handset.
