Nova Launcher Prime is now available at Rs.10

You might be wondering how people create those amazing home screen setups you see on various websites, social media, and YouTube. Well, Nova Launcher is the app behind most of them.

If you didn’t know, Nova Launcher is a third-party replacement for the stock launcher your device comes with. It is light on resources yet functional and highly customizable. At the same time, it features a simple and elegant UI which even a first time user can get used to in no time.

It gives you full control over the UI and you can manipulate it in the best way according to your needs!

You can do the same with Nova Launcher too. With a custom Pixel Icon Pack combined with Zooper Widgets or KWGT, you can create your own Pixel 2 UI using the Nova Launcher in no time.

Nova Launcher can be downloaded from Play Store for free. The free version offers most of the features but saves the best for Prime Version which is usually available at Rs.150. You won’t regret even if you purchase it at Rs.150.

And Guess what, you can now get the Prime Version of Nova Launcher just for Rs. 10 from the Play Store. Yes, you read that right, just for Rs.10. So why are you waiting, if you haven’t purchased the Prime Version yet, go get it! As of now, we do not know how long the offer will last, so if you want to purchase the app, do it ASAP.

How to Purchase the Nova Launcher Prime?

The offer was available last year also, but back then purchasing something from Play Store, especially for us Indians was a hassle as it didn’t have support for Indian Debit Cards. You needed to have an International Debit/Credit card to complete the purchase.

But now, things have changed a lot and you can buy apps from Play Store by directly paying from your main account balance. It is supported by most of the Indian carriers like Idea, Airtel, Vodafone, etc..

If your network provider doesn’t support carrier billing for Google Play, no need to worry, you can head over to an e-wallet app like FreeCharge, PayTM or MobiKwik and buy Google Play Recharge codes (note that the minimum amount is Rs.100).

There is another way which you does not have to spend money out of your pocket – Google Opinion Rewards. It is an app from Google itself which asks users to complete small surveys from time to time and give them a small kickback in the form of Google Play Credits. Just install this app from Google Play Store, and register with your Google ID. You will be notified when surveys are available, answer a few questions and you will be rewarded with a small amount which you can use to purchase apps, movies, books or music from Google Play Store. But the number of surveys and the frequency of them is heavily dependent your region, so don’t expect to make a huge amount of it (I have earned Rs.130 after using it for about 4 months).

What do you get with Nova Launcher Prime?

1. Notification Badges – Like those seen on iOS and the new Android 8.0 Oreo. You can set it to show the exact number of notifications beside the app icon or you can set it to show coloured dots just like the Notification Dots on Android 8.0 Oreo.

2. Gestures – Nova Launcher Prime unlocks a ton of gestures which you can set to launch apps, shortcuts or even a specific activity inside an app. It will add the list of gestures below.

3. Icon Re-sizing – The free version of Nova Launcher doesn’t allow you to re-size icons on the home screen. With the Prime Version, you can make the icons as large or small as you want.

4. Swipe-up Action for Icons on Home Screen – You can swipe up from any app icon on the home screen and set to open other apps or launch a shortcut. It is very convenient in my opinion. For example, I have set to open the ‘Netvelocity’ app when I swipe-up on ‘My Jio’ app icon. So I don’t have to go to app drawer to open either of them and also I don’t have to waste space on my home screen for an app I use less often.

While there might be other additional options, but these are the ones that quickly came to my mind.

Do let me know if I missed something. Go purchase the Nova Launcher Prime if you haven’t already and thank me later. Keep scrolling through The Mr. Phone app and you might find another great thing!
