The next flagship killer, the OnePlus 6 is due in a week’s time. This is the sixth generation of the one and only device that OnePlus has in its portfolio. It will also be the most expensive OnePlus phone the company has ever made. We’ve been treated to renders, live images, and concepts of the device before. But nothing clears the air as much as a CAD 360-degree render. And the OnePlus 6 just got one too. Take a look at the video below.
Of course, the above material is from verified sources and also reaffirms previous leaks about the handset. The dimensions and weight have been declared as below.
Dimensions: 155.7 x 75.35 x 7.75mm
Weight: about 175 grams
Key features of the handset include water resistance (likely IP67), wireless charging, heart-rate sensor and top-notch specs. The above video shows a few things that weren’t very obvious early on. For one, the dual rear cameras rise above the glass surface of the handset. This will be a bit uncomfortable. Also, the bottom chin on the front side remarkably thin and there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack which was earlier confirmed. The only thing that remains to be known is the price.
Display: 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080p
Camera: Rear 20MP + 16MP, Front 16MP
Processor/Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 flagship SoC with an Adreno 630 GPU.
RAM: 6GB or 8GB
Internal Storage: 128GB or 256GB depending on the variant
Operating System: Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box
Battery Capacity: 3,300 mAh with fast charging support
The OnePlus 6 launches on May 16 in London. Furthermore, the Indian launch is to follow on May 17th in Mumbai. Sale of the handset starts on May 22 and for Amazon Prime users, that’s 21st May. There will be pop-up stores in various cities as well that will treat customers on a first-come-first-serve rule.
