The OnePlus 6 is now confirmed to come with a notch. And now it seems, the phone is coming earlier than usual. A new entry found on Indian certification website BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). The entry is for the model OnPlus A6000. Obviously, this is a OnePlus 6 variant. And its appearance on the certification website means that we might see an early launch.
Last year, the OnePlus 5 launched in June. However, OnePlus might have a OnePlus 6T in the offing and that’s why they might be thinking of widening the time gap between two phones this year.
As for the design, the most interesting thing is the notch and the rear design. The former has been confirmed by none other than CEO of OnePlus himself, Carl Pei. The rear is also in for a redesign as it will likely house a rectangular fingerprint reader and centrally-placed vertical dual cameras.
Recently, a spec-sheet of the handset leaked revealing a 20MP selfie shooter and a 3,450mAh battery. Further, it showed a 20MP + 16MP duo of rear cameras both having a f/1.7 aperture. Further, it is a given that the latest flagship from OnePlus will obviously adorn the Snapdragon 845 chipset. As the rumours point out, there is a 6GB variant in the works and we can also expect an 8GB variant like last year.
Looking at current info, we could be looking at an April launch of the OnePlus 6 in China followed by a May release in India. Would you like the April launch of this phone?
