OnePlus 6T is dropping on October 30 and like every year, it’s likely to be an Amazon exclusive. However, the company has confirmed the phone’s offline presence through the retail stores of Reliance Digital. OnePlus phones including the OnePlus 6T would sell in the Reliance stores across the country.
The General Manager of OnePlus India, Vikas Agarwal said, “The premium smartphone segment in India is steadily growing and OnePlus seeks to more effectively tap into this space, with a nifty strategy combining both online and offline platforms for a holistic reach. This partnership with Reliance Digital will equip OnePlus with a more robust physical presence, enabling the brand to cater to its increasing user base through multiple touchpoints across cities. The focus on curating only the best user experience by Reliance Digital resonates with that of OnePlus’ user philosophy.”
The upcoming OnePlus 6T would have an in-display fingerprint sensor as touted by the company itself. The phone would be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of ROM. As for the looks, the device is likely to come with a waterdrop style notch, increasing the screen-to-body ratio even more. The company has decided to do away with the headphone jack and it would be another first for the OnePlus phones. The speculated price of the smallest variant of the phone is Rs 37,999.
OnePlus 6T will launch in New Delhi and would come packed with Type-C Bullet headphones along with an Amazon Pay balance of Rs 500 for online customers. Are you ready for October 30? Let us know in the comments section below. Stay tuned to Mr. Phone for more updates.
