OnePlus 6T is next-in-line to be the ultimate flagship killer. While people were unsure about its nomenclature earlier, today its final name has been revealed through a “credible” leak. The phone will be called the OnePlus 6T only and its first real image has also been leaked. Sadly, the phone will not feature a triple camera setup. Samsung has been touted to be working on a triple rear camera flagship but OnePlus is still not in the race.
To look on the bright side, we can be grateful to the company. A triple camera setup would have definitely marked an increase in price and consumers wouldn’t have liked it probably. However, the in-display fingerprint sensor which being claimed to make an appearance on the OnePlus 6T could increase the price tag substantially. The leaked image doesn’t show any physical fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 6T. Hence, an in-display sensor is likely to be included.
In another news, Amazon India has listed OnePlus 6T on its website. The phone has been placed with OnePlus Type-C Bullets and both have “coming soon” written below them. This confirms OnePlus 6T as the official name of the upcoming phone. Also, OnePlus is likely to show a teaser of the phone during India vs Pakistan cricket match that is going on at the time of writing this article.
