OnePlus has a new accessory in its store, the much anticipated OnePlus Band is now official in India. The handset maker had now forayed into the smart fitness category, which the company calls it ‘Smart Everywear’. OnePlus Band is now available in India and is ready to take on the competition like Mi Band 5, realme Band, for instance. The latest OnePlus Band comes in dual colours and with essential smart features like exercise modes, blood oxygen monitoring and more.
OnePlus Band — Design
The OnePlus Band is a traditional looking fitness tracker, which comes with a 1.1-inches dynamic AMOLED display. It claims to bring brighter colours (with adjustable brightness) and has multiple multiple watch faces right out of the box. OnePlus says users can also hop on a customisable watch face from their devices’ photo album. The display encloses in a Black coloured strap as the default option. However, users can try on dual-colour combos that further opens up three different style options, which are sold separately.

OnePlus Band — Features
On the features front, the OnePlus Band comes with Health monitoring systems comprising — Optical heart rate monitor, SpO2 tracking (blood oxygen monitoring sensor), and sleep tracking. The other features of the device include 13 exercise modes comprises — Outdoor run, walk, cycling, elliptical trainer, rowing machine, badminton, Yoga, and more.
The other highlights of the new band include — 5ATM/ IP68 sweat and water-resistant rating, and Bluetooth 5.0, for connectivity. The smart features include messaging notifications, incoming call notifications, camera shutter controls, find my phone, Zenmode (for OnePlus users only), OTA upgrades and more. The Android compatibility includes Android 6.0 and above. Users can further customise features on the band within the OnePlus Health app.
Battery
The band equips a 100mAh battery capacity beneath. It promises a 14-day battery life and charges with a provided charging dongle (USB Type-A).
OnePlus Band — Pricing and Availability
The new smart accessory from OnePlus retails at Rs 2,499 for the standard Black variant. Users who are opting to dual-colour options can purchase Tangerine Gray and Navy dual-coloured straps at Rs 399 each. The open sale of the OnePlus Band will begin on January 13th through OnePlus.in, OnePlus store app, Amazon, Flipkart and all other offline stores across the country.
