OnePlus launches wireless earphones with Google assistant integration

OnePlus’s launch of the OnePlus 6 was accompanied by a pair of wireless earbuds, the Bullets Wireless. These are the first pair of wireless earphones from OnePlus and unlike Apple, they didn’t have to go jack-less for it.

The Bullets wireless have been carved into a very modern looking shell. The metal housing is painted in a gunmetal finish with magnetic bases for the two earbuds to snap together. It supports USB-C fast charging and OnePlus promises 5 hours of playback in 10 minutes of charge. The bullets wireless are weather-resistant and use the AptX codec for better Bluetooth audio quality. You’ll also find Google Assistant-integration, which means you can ask for directions and navigation to different places, or ask Google to set a reminder all without taking your phone out.

Now, talking about a few convenience features, if you have a OnePlus 5/5T/6 then the moment you snap the two earbuds the music pauses and when you detach them the music resumes. This sounds like the perfect feature for listeners and OnePlus is working on bringing this to calls too. It comes with Bluetooth 4.1 and the 9.2mm driver size promises richer bass.

You can buy the Bullets Wireless in India starting 5th June at Rs 3,999.
