OnePlus is all set for the action on April 14th. As we all know that OnePlus 8 series is coming to India and global markets on the mentioned date. Last week, we got some confirmations regarding the display and internal tech from the company officials. Today we have some more interesting news to share. Pete Lau, the CEO and Founder of OnePlus has shared in an official forum regarding the existence of a fast Wireless Charging Dock.

OnePlus Wireless Charging Dock

Dubbed as Warp Charge 30 Wireless, it is the company’s first and all-new wireless charging dock, made for the upcoming OnePlus 8 Series phone. We know only one of the phones could end up taking advantage of that. But as of now, we would wait for confirmation rather than concretely agree on which model that would be based on speculations. Moving on with more information on the charging dock.

The upcoming wireless charger is said to take an OnePlus flagship from 1% to 50% in only half an hour. That’s just nuts. The peak output of 30W makes sure you get the fast wireless charging.

Now if you’re wondering whether you’d be able to achieve that level of fast charging from any other wireless fast dock tech for an OnePlus phone or not. Well, the company states that the highest wireless charging wattage achieved would be 10W, only a Qi wireless charger with 10W EPP standard could do that.
