OPPO A52 with punch-hole display coming soon to India in budget friendly segment

OPPO is all set to launch its next handset in its A-Series of smartphones. The upcoming phone will be dubbed as OPPO A52 and will sport a punch-hole display design. The brand is calling it a first smartphone to feature such display design in the budget-friendly segment. 

Unfortunately, the launch date hasn’t been shared by the brand. We will have to wait for that. While it’s fortunate that we already know what’s in the store for us. The specifications of the OPPO A52 are already available on the company’s global website. Let’s take a look at it. 

OPPO A52 Specifications 

The A52 will reportedly come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080) with a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and only 1.73mm narrow edges. There’s a punch-hole on the left top side of the display. It will be available in two colours including twilight black and stream white.  

OPPO’s new phone in India will pack a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is said to provide a better experience with 3D quad-curve design. Speaking about the camera department, it’ll be sporting a quadruple setup. Where the primary lens is of 12MP (f/1.7) resolution, the secondary lens of 8MP (f/2.2) resolution. The remaining two sensors are each 2MP resolution, where one is a macro lens and the other is a depth sensor. For selfies, expect a 16MP sensor to run the show. 

The smartphone will be powered by a 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It’s an LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage in case you are wondering the specifics. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU. As far as the custom skin is concerned, it’ll be running on ColorOS 7.1 (Android 10) with features like dark mode, smart sidebar at the center of the experience.

All this would be powered by a 5000mAh capacity battery with 18W fast charging support. For the audiophiles, the phone comes with dual stereo speakers, and Dirac 2.0 sound effect and High-Res Audio support.
