OPPO A5s with Helio P35 and dual rear cameras launched

After launching the OPPO K1 and the OPPO F11 Pro, the company now has other plans as well. OPPO has launched the OPPO A5s as part of its A series of smartphones. While there is no information about the price and availability yet, the device certainly looks good for the budget market. Well, let’s take a look at what this device has in store.

OPPO A5s specifications

The OPPO A5s will also be called the OPPO AX5s in certain regions. It features a 6.2-inch display with a waterdrop-style notch. It is an HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1,440p. Under the hood, you’ll find the Helio P35 chipset. It is paired with at least 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage which is user expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. In terms of camera optics, it comes with a 13MP+2MP dual camera setup at the back. Up front, you get a single 8MP shooter for selfies.

The device runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo version out of the box. It is juiced up by a 4,230mAh battery with no fast charging. Additionally, the new OPPO device comes in new color options – Black and Red, instead of Blue and Pink.

OPPO A5s price and availability
