Oppo A83

Oppo has once again refreshed the A83 series of smartphones for the second time in three months. The original Oppo A83 launched at the beginning of the year and it was followed by the Oppo A83 Pro at the end of March. All that the Oppo A83 Pro offered more was storage and RAM. Now the company has launched an Oppo A83 (2018) and it seems the handset is completely identical to the A83 Pro. The Oppo A83 (2018) is priced at Rs 15,990 and has Blue and Gold colours.

The Oppo A83 is equipped with a single 13MP lens on the back of the handset while the front houses an 8MP sensor. Of course, no Oppo phone is complete without AI Beauty Recognition Technology and this one has one too. There’s no fingerprint reader on this phone and Face Unlock is the only biometric that comes with it.

Oppo has bravely loaded the A83 (2018) with Android 7.1 Nougat mixed with its wonderful Color OS 3.2. To top the package, there’s a 3,180mAh battery inside the chassis that does not support fast charge.
