OPPO F19 Pro

OPPO F19 Pro is now official in India. The company has unveiled two new OPPO F series phones comprising — OPPO F19 Pro and OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G. While the latter falls under the premium segment in the lot; the OPPO F19 Pro acts as a toned-down version of it. This includes an identical display, cameras, battery, and design as well. The key differentiator would be the processor; wherein the 5G variant comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U SoC, the non-5G variant settles with Helio P95.

Design and Display

Like the Pro variant, it also comes with a matte finish on the back, featuring in Fluid Black, Fantastic Purple, Crystal Silver colour variants. On the front, the device comes with a 6.43-inches OLED display (hole-punch) with Full HD+ resolution. It has standard 60Hz refresh rates and comes with a screen to body ratio of 90.8%. The device further equips an in-display fingerprint sensor, for authentication.


The device, underneath, features a MediaTek Helio P95 processor, which is an octa-core processor with clock speeds of up to 2.2GHz. There is IMG PowerVR GM 9446, for graphics. The OPPO F19 Pro comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. There’s a microSD expansion option available for up to 256GB. The device ships with ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. It includes Game Focus mode, Gaming Shortcut mode, and Game Floating mode.


The OPPO F19 Pro comes with 48MP AI Quad rear camera setup: which means there’s a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP mono camera. The front hole punch carries a 16MP selfie shooter. The rear cameras support OPPO’s popular AI Color Portrait Video, Monochrome video, dual-view mode, EIS steady video mode, AI Scene Enhancement 2.0, Dynamic Bokeh and Night flare portrait mode, to name a few.

The device draws power from a decent 4310mAh battery capacity. It charges through USB Type-C and supports OPPO’s 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. This promises to charge the battery to full in and around 56-minutes.

The OPPO F19 Pro starts at Rs 21,490 for the 8GB+128GB variant and first sale of it starts from March 17th. And, the larger 8GB+256GB is priced at Rs 23,490.
