Oppo launched the F7 last month with a 25-megapixel AI-equipped front camera. And as usual, the company has started the preparation of a cheaper version of its device, named the Oppo F7 Youth.
According to a leaked promotional video, the Oppo F7 Youth will carry a single camera in the back. It won’t feature a fingerprint sensor and it will have a Black Diamond colour variant as well. If we look closely, the phone bears much resemblance to the Oppo A3 that was launched at the end of April.
Oppo F7 Youth Specifications
The Oppo F7 Youth, like the ‘Oppo F7‘, will have a front camera with artificial intelligence chops. This will allow the device to have better image recognition and learn to differentiate your face from others for better selfies.
Although there are no specifications listed yet, if the device is similar to the Oppo A3, we can count on a Helio P60 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, expandable using a MicroSD slot.
Recall that this processor has 8 cores (4x Cortex-A73 2.0GHz + 4x Cortex-A53 2.0GHz), a 64-bit architecture, and 12nm TSMC fabrication process.
The phone could possibly include a battery of 3400mAh capacity without fast charging support. It is touted to have facial recognition and, of course, Android 8.1 Oreo, with the manufacturer’s customization layer.
The price of the Oppo F7 Youth is a mystery, but taking into account the past history, we can say that it will be close to Rs. 15,000.
It is expected that the device will arrive later this month in Myanma. If the Oppo F7 Youth leaked prices are correct, would you be interested to buy one? Let us know in the comments section below.
