OPPO F9 with Helio P60 SoC and 6.3-inch full HD+ display listed ahead of launch

OPPO has been teasing its new F Series handset quite aggressively for the past couple of weeks. So far it had kept its teasing to the social channels, but the Chinese smartphone brand now has listed its upcoming handset on its Vietnamese website. As per the report suggested by Gadgets360, this OPPO F9 in Vietnam will arrive as OPPO F9 Pro in India later this month. The OPPO F9 price listed on the website is VND 7,990,000, which roughly translates to RS 23,499.

Talking about the specifications, the F9/F9 Pro shall be sporting a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch. The internal could be powered by a 12nm Helio P60 SoC, which is an octa-core processor. It could be available in two different variants – 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage.

As far as the camera department is concerned, it shall be sporting a 16MP rear sensor with LED Flash and f/1.85 aperture and a secondary 2MP resolution sensor. Looking at the front, it houses a 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI abilities. It will be running the ColorOS 5.2 interface based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

All this is powered by a 3500mAh capacity battery, which will support VOOC flash charging. This fast charging support states that with just five minutes charging it can power the device for 2 hour talk time. It shall be coming in two color variants including Red Sunshine and Twilight.
