The OPPO F9 is now officially kicking off another era in the evolution of the notch screen. The water-drop style notch bearing mid-ranger costs Rs 19,990 and takes its place as the younger sibling of the Oppo F9 Pro that launched alongside it. The primary difference between F9 Pro and F9 is the VOOC charging, which is absent on the F9.
OPPO F9 Specs
The most obvious difference of the OPPO F9 from its predecessor is the tear-drop notch while most of the other F7 traits are carried forward in design. It has a 6.3-inch 1080p panel with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and a micro SD slot as well.
The F9 sadly doesn’t come with VOOC charging as it is relegated to the Pro variant. There aren’t many differences between the two except for the VOOC charging we talked about and the camera setup. The F9 has a 16MP front camera whereas the F9 Pro has a 25MP shooter.
As for the rear camera, both the F9/F9 Pro have been endowed with a 16MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The gas in the tank is worth 3,500mAh that powers Android 8.1 Oreo and is coated by ColorOS.
The OPPO F9 will be sold on Flipkart as well as Oppo stores at a price of Rs 19,990. What do you guys think of the new F9? Drop a feedback below in the comments.
