OPPO is all set to introduce its new K series smartphones in India. The Chinese handset maker has started to tease a new handset series with a unique feature point. The company is teasing its latest smartphone on Flipkart with a revolutionary feature at an unbelievable price. 91Mobiles have learned that this unknown handset would be called as Oppo K1.
OPPO K1 price in India
It is not the first that you guys are hearing this name, the company released this handset in China last year in October. With a very affordable price tag of Rs 17,000 approximately, for the base variant the 4GB + 64GB. Currently, the most affordable in-display fingerprint sensor-enabled phone is Vivo’s V11 Pro, which is also said to receive a successor later in February.
Thus, it is believed that OPPO could release its K1 at a price tag below Rs 20,000. And that would be a very unique proposition for the users looking to spending around that price point in India. The timeline of the Oppo K1 release in India is set for the first week of February, which is not quite far.
OPPO K1 specs
Talking about the Oppo K1 specifications, it offers a 6.4-inch OLED display with water drop notch design and 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. As far as the design is concerned, the Oppo K1 showcases a design similar to the OPPO F9. That is why it could be possible that OPPO may introduce it as an OPPO F series variant in India rather than introducing an all-new K series.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and it would be offering up to 6GB of RAM and single 64GB storage. On the rear, it is fitted with a 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup, whereas on the front a 25MP lens is rocking the selfie experience. It would be running on the Coloraturas OS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. There would be a 3600mAh capacity battery powering the device.
