OPPO’s Reno has been the talk of the town since past three weeks when we first heard from the Vice President about it on Weibo. The Reno, which is touted to be the company’s new sub-brand is slated to release its first phone dubbed as Oppo Reno on April 10. The official launch date is still two weeks away, but today we get to see the fresh new renders of the phone.
OPPO Reno: A new form of pop-up selfie system!
Earlier as well, there has been a lot of press render leaked, which has given us Idea regarding the look and feel of the Reno’s first phone. Now the new renders shared by Slashleaks on twitter and the website showcases an all-new feature of the phone. A pop-up selfie camera system like never seen before.
Yes! Oppo Reno is believed to be coming with a pop-up selfie camera system unlike seen before. It covers all the top edge unlike selected areas like Vivo Nex, Vivo V15 Pro, V15, and OPPO F11 Pro. Oppo Reno is said to give an all-new meaning to the pop-up selfie camera system.
Not only the sensor, but the pulley that comes out is said to house the dual-tone LED Flash as well. Plus, the earpiece seems to be embedded in the pulley and it gets revealed as soon as the piece pops out. Further, you can see there is some sort of sensor (likely IR Blaster) placed on top of the piece that comes out.
The most interesting thing to note is that the whole thing doesn’t come out straight, but it is rather an inclined place from right to left. Where the camera and LED are placed on the right part of the pop-out piece. It just looks incredible, to say the least, and might be one of the smartest ways to go bezel-less if one is looking for an elevating camera setup on their phone.
