Panasonic Eluga 600 with 5.99-inch HD+ display, 4000mAh battery announced

After announcing its top of the line Eluga X1 Pro a few days back, Panasonic has just launched the Eluga Ray 600 in India. This handset is more of an entry-level device with a price tag of Rs 7.999. It will be sold exclusively via Flipkart starting October 11 in Blue, Black and Gold colour options.

The Eluga Ray 600 comes with a 5.99-inch HD display and a beefy 4,000mAh battery to power its pixels. The display is topped by 2.5D curved glass and has an 18:9 aspect ratio. Disappointedly, the handset uses a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739WA chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There’s up to 128GB of expandable memory option on it via MicroSD cards.

The Eluga Ray runs Android 8.1 Oreo and has a single 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. There’s a rear fingerprint reader on the device it has dual SIM capability, 4G VoLTE, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Would you be picking up this smartphone?
