Panasonic has launched the P100 smartphone in India. The phone comes in two variants – 1GB RAM and 2GB RAM. The variants cost Rs 5,299 and Rs 5,999 respectively. The phone is a Flipkart exclusive and is available in three colour options – Black, Blue and Dark Grey. 

Under the “Gold Utsav consumer offer”, Panasonic is giving out special offers on the phone from February 8th until March 31st. Those who will buy the P100 within this period will get a coupon card with a unique code. After completing the participation process, the buyers stand a chance of winning Gold up to 10g.

Panasonic P100 – specs and features

The Panasonic P100 comes with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280p. The phone runs on the MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor, clocked at 1.25GHz. The RAM on the phone is 1GB/2GB and both the variants come with 16GB of ROM. The native storage is expandable via a microSD card.

The optics specs on the phone contain an 8MP rear sensor with an LED flash and a 5MP selfie snapper with an LED flash. The connectivity options on the phone include a support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The device comes with a 2200mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Nokia 2 and Redmi 5A are the main competitors of the phone as of now. While both are already popular, it will be interesting to see how Panasonic performs in this segment.
